About Bass's Basement Research Institute

Mission

Bass's Basement Research Institute is dedicated to basic research and education concerning new-product diffusion and sales forecasting as well as preserving and disseminating the research contributions and philosophy of Professor Frank M. Bass. 

Current Projects

Educational materials, databases and software for new-product diffusion modeling and new-technology forecasting are in development and will be available on this site starting in April 2008.

We have just released the new Web database of the doctoral descendants of Professor Bass, which can be edited by members of the Bass Doctoral Tree who are registered with this site (registration is free).

Corporate Structure

Bass's Basement Research Institute is a not-for-profit (501(c)3 Texas corporation) funded by tax-deductible contributions and supported by volunteer efforts.

 "Bass's Basement Research Institute" is a DBA for "Frank M. Bass Institute", which is the legal name of the corporation. We are using the DBA in deference to those who might wish to start a Frank M. Bass Institute at a university.
