Taesun Kim, Ph.D.
Taesun is a postdoctoral research fellow at Bass�s Basement Research Institute.
His primary responsibility is scholarly research in new-product
diffusion modeling. He is also especially interested in application of
Bayesian econometrics to various marketing issues.
At Bass's Basement, Dr. Kim is also working on the classification of the
new-product forecasting and diffusion literature that will soon be available
on Bass's Basement Web site as a resource for scholars and forecasters.
Taesun has 10 years experience in econometrics and statistical modeling. Before Taesun joined Bass's Basement, he was employed as a consultant at BearingPoint, Inc. and was responsible for the development of market planning, retail site selection tools, and sales forecasting models at a variety of industry projects. Taesun also has significant experience with analysis of retail scanner data.
